Rules of Play

  • All children must be booked/signed in & supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The Playstation does not accept responsibility for the supervision of your child or children in your care.
  • Please read & follow any safety signs & instructions, in particular AGE & HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS for the different play areas.
  • Shoes must be removed and socks must be worn at all times.
  • Children should use the toilet and wash their hands before entering the play frames so we can minimize the spread of germs and keep everybody healthy and happy.
  • Children who are showing obvious injuries, or are unwell are not allowed to enter the play frames.
  • Scarves, neck ties and clothing with ropes or cords should not be worn in the play frames. These could get caught in the equipment and endanger your child.
  • Please leave badges, phones, jewelry and any sharp objects with a responsible adult.
  • Glasses should only be worn if used with a retainer and shatter proof lenses.
  • We recommend to parents/guardians that children wear long sleeves and trousers.
  • Children must travel feet first down all slides, on their bum, facing forwards.
  • Please ensure that once your children has descended the slide that they move away promptly from the end of the slide.
  • No standing, running or walking up or down the slides, nor are they allowed to climb back up the slide.
  • No food, drinks or chewing gum allowed in the play frames.
  • It is forbidden to climb on the netted walls or on the system structure. Children who do this will be asked to leave.
  • Balls or other objects should not be thrown at other children.
  • Rough play, fighting, biting will not be tolerated. Children involved in disruptive behaviour may be asked to leave.
  • Parents/Guardians are responsible for the behaviour & well being of each child in their care & must maintain supervision at all times.
  • Please report any behavioural concerns to a member of staff. Do not attempt to intervene yourself.
  • Report all accidents to a member of staff, to ensure that we can provide any necessary assistance & minimize the potential of a possible re-occurrence.
  • No adults are allowed on the play frames at any time, unless supervising toddlers in the U3’s playframe.
  • In the interest of health & safety please ensure that any spillages are reported to a member of staff.
  • Only food and drinks purchased at The Playstation can be consumed on the premises.
  • All damages to The Playstation property either accidental or deliberate must be reported to a member of staff.
  • In the event of an emergency, please follow the advice of staff & evacuate the building at the nearest fire exit in a calm manner.
  • All children must be NO taller than 1m45 (4’9”) when using the large play frame.
  • All children must be NO taller than 1m10 (3’7”) when using the small play area.
  • We are very pleased to be able to provide this facility to you and while we have attempted to make it as safe as possible, the very nature of children’s play means that accidents can occasionally happen. We therefore cannot accept any responsibility or injury to children, adults or clothing while using this facility.
